Wilson, Theresa

As a Spring 1998 initiate of the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter (Sin a Qua Non 17, #10: No Gamez), I gained not only membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, but a sisterhood that has shaped my life. I am a proud charter member of the North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter (NCTA), where I have served in numerous leadership roles, including President from 2018–2022.

During my tenure, NCTA successfully hosted membership intake for its inaugural initiate line. I have also served on and chaired multiple committees, with service that reflects a deep, sustained commitment to advancing the sorority’s mission of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.

My leadership extends beyond the local level. I have served the Southwest Region as an investigator and as a co-coordinator for the 50th Southwest Regional Conference, further demonstrating my dedication to excellence, accountability, and impactful service within Delta.

Professionally, I bring more than 25 years of experience in learning and development, with a specialized focus on workforce development. I currently serve as Director of Workforce Development for Parkland Health in Dallas, where I lead a high-performing team dedicated to coaching and supporting individuals as they identify and pursue healthcare-focused career pathways. Through strategic exposure opportunities, education, and financial support, our work strengthens individuals and families generationally while positively impacting the socioeconomic health of the communities we serve.

Outside of my professional and sorority commitments, I cherish patio time and laughter with my husband and our three adult children. I enjoy hosting intimate gatherings of friends and family, and I find joy in home décor styling projects—often refurbishing furniture and blending creativity with design to breathe new life into beautiful works of art and create welcoming spaces for all!
