Milson, Whitney

My name is Whitney Milson, and I was initiated into the Sigma Mu Chapter in Spring 2006, alongside 9 beautiful Sorors – collectively known as DECADE, representing ten years since the chapter’s charter. I am proudly known by my line name “inTENsity.” inTENsity represents the strength and responsibility of #10 as the anchor of our line - symbolizing completion, accountability, and excellence - paired with a deep commitment to serving with intention, leading with conviction, and showing up consistently.

My Delta journey began during my collegiate years and shaped my foundation for leadership, service, and sisterhood. I had the privilege of serving as Collegiate Chapter President for two terms and on the National Housing Committee (2007–2009) - experiences that deepened my commitment to Delta’s mission and impact.

I am a 2009 graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. My entire professional career has been in healthcare operations, where I have served as a healthcare executive within mission-driven organizations focused on serving the underserved and advancing equitable access to care and services. I have led teams and operations at scale, helping organizations turn vision into action while keeping people at the center of the work. Purpose-driven leadership has always mattered deeply to me, and I am grateful to lead with both strategy and heart.

In addition to my professional work, I serve as the Children’s Director at Westside Baptist Church, where my servant’s heart is expressed through ministry, mentorship, and nurturing the next generation. Service is woven into who I am, and I have volunteered with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Meals on Wheels, the American Heart Association, Northwest ISD, among others.

I married the love of my life, Kersh, in 2011, and together we are raising two intelligent and handsome sons, Evan and Maverick. We are also proud godparents to Madison and Holland, a role that brings us great joy.

I am thankful for the sisterhood, faith, and service that continue to guide my life and remain grateful for the lifelong bonds created through Delta Sigma Theta.

Fun fact: I genuinely enjoy creating order out of chaos—whether that’s streamlining a process, planning an event, or organizing family life with two active and energetic boys.
