Hayes, Keyerre

Hello! My name is Keyerre Hayes, and I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, initiated in the Fall of 2015 through the Iota Mu Chapter. I am the Ace of my line and am affectionately known by my line sisters as the Sou1 Purpose of the line.

I joined the North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter in the Fall of 2017 and have truly enjoyed serving in various capacities over the years, including Teen Summit Chair, Emergency Response Coordinator, Corresponding Secretary, and I currently serve as Scholarship Co-Chair.

Professionally, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and serve as the Upward Bound Director, overseeing two federally funded TRIO Upward Bound grants at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County. Through this work, I am passionate about exposing and supporting first-generation students during their secondary school years as they prepare for postsecondary education.

I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and I truly enjoy connecting with others, serving my community, and spending time doing work that makes a difference.
