Hello, my name is LaTonya Bias, and I honored to serve on the Nominating Committee for the 2025-2026 biennium.

Soror LaTonya Bias is a proud and purpose-driven graduate of Portland State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science. Her passion for leadership and business excellence led her to obtain a Master of Business Administration from Keller School of Management, followed by a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. These academic accomplishments reflect her lifelong commitment to growth, strategic thinking, and organizational leadership. Complementing her education, Soror Bias holds professional certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP) and SHRM. She is also a licensed cosmetologist with more than 30 years of experience, an expertise that fuels both her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to service.

Soror Bias began her Delta journey in the Spring of 2023 when she was initiated into the Collin County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is the #56 initiate on the Spring ’23 line of 66 dynamic women known as the M.I.L.E.S. of Distinction, proudly carrying the line name Quiet Illusion. Since her initiation, Soror Bias has embraced Delta’s principles of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action, allowing them to guide her personal life, professional endeavors, and community involvement.

Giving back is a natural part of Soror Bias’s life and purpose. Throughout the years, she has devoted countless hours to uplifting others through her work with the NAACP, the Love Life Lupus Foundation, and volunteering with various homeless shelters. She has also been an active member of One Community Church since its inception, where she faithfully served on the administrative team, supporting the church’s mission and outreach efforts.

Soror Bias is the proud wife of 30 years to Jerome Bias (Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.) and a loving mother to three adult children: her daughter Kiara, and her sons Jerome Jr. (Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.) and James. She is the devoted grandmother of six (6) grandchildren, forever cherishing the memory of one who has transitioned and will always remain in her heart. She also shares her home with her energetic Belgian Malinois, Bella.

In her leisure time, Soror Bias enjoys expressing her creativity and entrepreneurial passion as the proud owner of L3 Eminent Contrive Health & Wellness Haircare Line (scalpslab.com). She finds joy in spending quality time with family and friends, dancing, and continuing to build a legacy rooted in purpose, service, and empowerment.
