President's Message

Welcome to the virtual home of the award-winning North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  It is with extreme enthusiasm that I greet you on behalf of the chapter.

Our site has been structured to provide a clear and concise view of our current chapter initiatives. It will continuously spotlight our work in the community and the dynamic and distinguished women that make up the North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter.  We invite you to visit the site frequently to keep abreast of our numerous events.  We also welcome your communication which helps to ensure that we are responsive to the needs of our community. It is our hope that you will use this site as a valuable resource of information about the numerous programs and activities we sponsor to implement Delta’s programmatic thrust.

Our focus is to provide public service to our community, which is demonstrated through the Sorority's Five Point Programmatic Thrusts:

  • Educational Development

  • Economic Development

  • International Awareness and Involvement

  • Physical and Mental Health

  • Political Awareness and Involvement

We are committed to building MOMENTUM with service, leadership and community empowerment through our many projects and programs which include, but are not limited to the Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta G.E.M.S. (for females age 14-18), the Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy (for females age 10-13), and by partnering with the local organizations, hosting voter registration drives, and supporting social action causes. Additionally, we host the Red Hot Delta Dash 5K and Health Expo as one of our Physical and mental health initiatives.


It is an honor to be a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., even more, a privilege to be President of such an outstanding chapter!
