The North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter’s Debutante Cotillion Program recognizes the achievements and accomplishments of qualified high school juniors and seniors.

Participation in our program also conveys to college admission officers that the participant is an active leader in her school and community, is highly respected, and is committed to volunteerism in her community and beyond.

This comprehensive seven-month program is designed for African American high school Juniors and Seniors who demonstrate excellence in academics, exemplary moral standards and active engagement in their local community and plans to attend a post-secondary institution.

Our Debutantes will benefit from their connection to a dynamic organization of women who are high achievers committed to public service.  This relationship along with newfound friendships offer Debutantes the opportunity to create a unique bond which is like no other.

Being a debutante requires your time, commitment, active participation, and hard work, but the rewards at the end of the journey are immeasurable.  Through a series of educational workshops and cultural events, our Debutantes will learn etiquette and social graces, college preparedness skills as well as participate in service projects.  These programs are geared to enhance their personal growth as they transition into womanhood.
