Mitchell, Katherine

Katherine Mitchell was initiated into the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. on April 30th, 1995. She crossed the burning sands as number 19, joining 27 dynamic women through the Shreveport Alumnae Chapter.

She is a proud graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in 1986.

As an active member of the North Central Texas Alumnae Chapter, she has served as the Co-Chair for Delta GEMS for the past five years, uplifting and mentoring young girls in her community.

Professionally, Katherine is a Compensation Consultant for The University of Kansas Health System, bringing dedication, expertise, and a deep commitment to service into every space she occupies. She has been married to her husband, Larry Mitchell, for 24 years, and is the proud mother of a daughter, Amber Mitchell.
